2026 Annual Banquet & Business Awards

On April 30, 2026, the Garden City Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed guests to its Annual Chamber Banquet and Business Awards, presented by Tyson Fresh Meats and the Finney County Convention & Visitors Bureau. The event was held at Garden City Community College and featured keynote speaker Mitch Holthus, the Voice of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The evening celebrated outstanding businesses and organizations that made a meaningful impact on the Finney County business community in 2025.

The Chamber also recognized Debbie Young of Golden Plains Credit Union as the 2025 Ambassador of the Year.

The evening concluded with the presentation of the Chamber’s most prestigious honor, the Award of Merit, which was awarded to Andy Fahrmeier of Hutton Corporation. This award recognizes an individual who goes above and beyond in service to the Chamber and the community.
